Pro Latisana is...

Pro Latisana is a voluntary association which has the task to promote and enhance the city of Latisana since 1994. During this 10-year activity Pro Latisana has been able to stimulate the social life of the city and it has become an appreciated and important institutional reality, thanks to the familiar relationship with the inhabitants. The association started its activity by organising the traditional events "Settembre Latisanese" and the "Fiera di San Martino". During the years it has been concerned with the organisation of other events, which take place all year round.
The numerous events, from the less important ones such as the fund-rasing for Telefono Azzurro or the Flaut'n'Bike to the most important ones, whose description is available on this website, allowed Pro Latisana to build important relationships and collaborations both with the public and private sectors: the municipal administration, the Province and Region administration, the Touristic agency of FVG, Confcommercio, Confartigianato and CNA.

Since 1998 Pro Latisana administrates the Municipal School of Music (SCdM). At the moment the school has 16 teachers, 15 music teaching posts and 123 pupils. Moreover it organises a Course for the academy of music, whose goal is the preparation for the exams of the academy.
The SCdM organises propaedeutic music courses at the local primary and elementary schools, too.

Since 2007 Pro Latisana is also seat of the touristic office - I.A.T. whose goal is the promotion of Latisana and its beauties.
